As a Medical Billing Specialist at Affinity Care MN, you will play a key role in supporting the financial health and compliance of our services. You will work closely with the billing team to ensure accurate, timely billing processes and strong coordination with internal teams and external partners.Job Responsibilities:
Enter and manage billing remittances accurately and efficiently. Process and track client authorizations to ensure services are properly approved and billed. Conduct quality assurance audits to ensure billing accuracy and compliance. Collaborate with internal staff and external case managers to resolve billing discrepancies. Lead the billing withinMN-ITS, MCO
billing interfaces, and other systems. Perform high-volume data entry with strong attention to detail. Communicate professionally via phone and email regarding billing inquiries. Monitor and follow up on outstanding billing issues to ensure resolution. Support overall billing operations and assist with process improvements as needed. Supervise two junior billers.Job Requirements:
3+ years proven billing administrative/office-management experience in a healthcare, residential-care, or human-services setting. Strong organizational skills, ability to coordinate multiple tasks, maintain records, and manage schedules. Excellent communication (verbal & written) and interpersonal skills. Proficiency with typical office software (Google Suite, MS Office, e-mail, spreadsheets) and willingness to adopt new tech. Ability to work independently, demonstrate initiative, and handle confidential information. We are an equal opportunity employer.
