Patient Care Coordinator Noran Neurological Clinic - 3.1 Bloomington, MN Job Details Full-time $19 - $22 an hour 2 hours ago Benefits Disability insurance Health insurance Dental insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Life insurance Retirement plan Qualifications Customer communication Care documentation Full Job Description As a patient care coordinator, you will work collaboratively with our clinical staff as well as other department staff to provide high-quality care for our patients. This position is at our Bloomington location, working 40 hours per week Monday-Friday 8:30am-5pm. $19-22/hour.
Duties:
Intake and discharge of patients for provider appointments and ancillary services; Use a variety of communication tools and systems to handle patient interactions and work collaboratively with the rest of the clinical department; Maintain complete, timely, and accurate documentation for each patient and continually look for opportunities to improve processes and workflow; Complete other assigned and clinical department tasks.

Create a positive and welcoming patient experience; Ability to prioritize patient requests; Ensure accuracy of patient data; Strong written and verbal communication; Ability to multitask; Ability to de-escalate conflict situations.
Major Areas of Responsibility:
Greet and arrive patients at the front desk for scheduled appointments; Collect copays at the time of check-in; Coordinate patient paperwork and medical charts at the front desk for the provider; Maintain accuracy of patient accounts and demographics in multiple systems; Open and prepare the clinic for hours of operation; Schedule follow-up appointments and ancillary services at the check-out counters; Stock exam rooms and clinical area with medical and office supplies after hours of operation; Continuously improve work processes, environment, and overall experience to serve patients and meet clinic goals; Manage and maintain the clinical fax and refill folders and various supply logs. Successful Clinical Support staff will be professional, customer service-oriented individuals who can communicate with a diverse patient population. Attention to detail, ability to multitask, and good chart documentation are required for success in this position.
