Pay Range:
$19.25-$25.02 It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case and on several factors including relevant work experience, education, certification & licensure, and internal equity. Hourly pay is just one part of the compensation package for employees. What you'll get to do in this role: Greets patients and visitors to the Behavioral Health Department with a courteous, respectful and professional manner. Answers phone calls and coordinates activities of the Behavioral Health Department. Registers patients with correct patient identity and accurate information within the electronic record system (Epic). Verifies insurance coverage. Schedules appointments and checks in appointments. Obtains patient consent for treatment. Scans consent forms and other documents as requested into Epic. Completes missing account information through assigned work queues. Enters charges into patient accounts on Epic. Files and maintains Behavioral Health records. Obtains preauthorization for services when needed. Releases protected health information with guidance from Health Information staff.
