CLINICAL LEADERSHIP - SURGERY
Interim Director of ASC JOB DETAILS An ASC in Chesterfield, MO is looking for an Interim Director of ASC to join their team! The Position An Interim Director of ASC is needed to provide operational and strategic leadership for a busy ambulatory surgery center with four operating rooms. This position will report to the Chief Nursing Officer. Key responsibilities include driving financial stabilization by identifying operational efficiencies to reduce monthly losses, evaluating staffing models and supply costs, leading the transition of non-clinical services into the hospital structure, strengthening workforce stability through recruitment and role clarity, supporting contract negotiations, and aligning quality and operational practices with ambulatory surgery center best practices. The ideal candidate will have recent leadership experience in an ambulatory surgery center or surgical services environment, with a proven track record of improving operational performance, financial outcomes, and team engagement. Must be highly organized, patient-focused, and able to adapt quickly to changing needs. Excellent communication skills will be critical. Must be available to start within 2-3 weeks of acceptance. Requirements BSN required; Master's degree preferred. Active RN license required. Recent ambulatory surgery center leadership experience or director-level surgical services experience, including ambulatory surgery center experience within the past five years, required. Compensation Details Compensation Range:
$160,000 to $165,000 annually. The final compensation rate will be determined based on experience, education, training, location, internal equity, and budget considerations, in accordance with Fair Market Value evaluation. Additionally, some candidates may be eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, depending on the specific role, including but not limited to health insurance coverage and retirement benefits.
