For more information regarding this program, please visit Public Service Loan Forgiveness | Federal Student Aid Essential Function Examples Accountable for Corrections Medicine quality improvement efforts at the Buzz Westfall Justice Center and the St. Louis County Family Courts Juvenile Detention Center Possesses knowledge of clinical quality principles, practices, methods, and tools, including computer applications related to QI Plans, designs, implements, and maintains a quality improvement program including educating staff about QI systems and requirements Provides quality data and reviews to CM leadership team in order to help the team make informed decisions Streamlines and standardizes best practices for clinical decision making, care processes and supply utilization Coordinates with Department Leadership to establish, interpret, and administer policies, procedures and SOPs Participates in fiscal management, contributing to the budget definition, maintaining records, delivering reports, and approving purchases related to the scope of oversight Designs clinical training program and scope, and provide support to clinical leaders to deliver needed training Manages organizational measurements and visualize information needed to drive leadership decisions Oversees adherence to the National Commission on Correctional Health Care (NCCHC) accreditation, the American Correctional Association (ACA), the Juvenile Detention Center reaccreditation and the Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) program Monitors personnel action related trackers and drives responses to achieve a high performing team Coaches managers through employee relations to ensure comprehensive communication and documentation as well as adherence to processes Perform other duties as required or assigned. Equivalent to a Bachelor's Degree and five years of related experience. Preferred Bachelors Degree prefer candidates licensed as a Registered Nurse by the State of Missouri with a Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Certification (CPR) Expertise in Microsoft Office; Word, Excel and Power Point Experience in the use of spreadsheets for QI-related data management Independent, reliable, and self-motivated problem-solver Demonstrated program and/or project management experience required Positive communication, customer focus and interpersonal skills Solutions oriented and ability to work well under pressure Able to manage multiple demands and projects simultaneously Supervisory experience highly desired
