What You'll Do + Welcome patients and provide a warm, professional first impression. + Manage patient check-in, check-out, appointment scheduling, confirmations, and recalls. + Verify dental insurance benefits , eligibility, and pre-authorizations when applicable. + Prepare and review dental treatment plans with patients. + Explain treatment recommendations, estimated patient financial responsibility, and financing options. + Collect co-pays, payments, and outstanding balances while maintaining accurate financial records. + Maintain accounts receivable (A/R) and assist with patient billing and collections. + Answer multi-line phones and respond to patient questions regarding appointments, treatment, insurance, and payments. + Maintain accurate electronic dental records ( EHR / EMR ) , patient charts, consent forms, and HIPAA -compliant documentation. + Coordinate communication between patients, dentists, dental assistants, and laboratory staff. + Support daily office operations to ensure an efficient patient flow. Qualifications + High school diploma or equivalent required. + Previous experience in a dental office , oral surgery, prosthodontic, periodontic, orthodontic, or other healthcare practice preferred.
