Clinical Director Rockhill Orthopedics Position Summary:

The Clinical Director is responsible for overseeing the clinical operations of the organization, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based care. This leadership role involves managing clinical staff, developing and implementing programs, maintaining regulatory compliance, and driving continuous improvement in patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Oversight Provide strategic leadership and direction for all clinical services and programs Supervise, mentor, and evaluate managers and APPs, including hiring and training Collaborate with executive leadership to align clinical services with organizational goals Manage departmental budgets, resource allocation, and operational efficiency Serve as a liaison between all teams and administrative departments Stay current on industry trends, research, and advancements in clinical care Facilitate regular APP meetings to review clinical updates, operational priorities, and practice initiatives. Clinical Operations Monitor clinical performance metrics and implement quality improvement initiatives Oversee patient care standards to ensure safety, effectiveness, and patient satisfaction Conduct onboarding, training, and ongoing development of APP staff. Coordinate APP scheduling and coverage across clinic locations, operating rooms, and hospital settings as applicable. Ensure appropriate utilization of APPs to maximize physician support and patient access. Monitor productivity, workflow efficiency, and patient throughput in collaboration with practice leadership. Support standardization of clinical protocols and best practices within orthopedic specialties. Quality & Compliance Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, as well as accreditation standards Develop, implement, and monitor clinical policies, procedures, and best practices Strategic Support Collaborate with leadership on growth initiatives, new service lines, and expansion. Assist in recruitment, interviewing, and hiring of new providers. Evaluate staffing needs and recommend operational improvements to support practice growth. Promote a collaborative team culture among physicians, APPs, and clinical staff.

Qualifications:

Master's degree as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant from an accredited program required. Current state licensure and certification as an NP or PA is required. Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience, preferably in orthopedics or surgical specialties, with at least 3 years in a leadership role. Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and compliance requirements Demonstrated leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

Preferred Skills:

Experience with program development and implementation Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced environment
