Managing Partners Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Medical Practice Administrator to oversee the daily operations of our growing medical practice. The ideal candidate will provide leadership in administrative, financial, and operational functions while ensuring exceptional patient care, regulatory compliance, and staff performance. The Medical Practice Administrator serves as a key member of the leadership team and is responsible for creating efficient workflows, managing personnel, optimizing revenue cycle processes, and supporting the overall success of the practice.
Key Responsibilities:
Direct and oversee daily practice operations to ensure efficiency and patient satisfaction. Manage and supervise administrative and clinical support staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations. Develop and implement policies, procedures, and best practices to improve operational effectiveness. Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, Medicare, Medicaid, and other applicable healthcare regulations. Coordinate vendor relationships & contracts Analyze operational and financial reports and provide recommendations for improvement. Support physician leadership with strategic planning, business development, and growth initiatives. Facilitate provider credentialing, maintaining current provider certifications, licenses, insurance coverages, etc.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field required; Master's degree preferred. Minimum of 3-5 years of healthcare management or medical practice administration experience. Strong knowledge of healthcare operations, medical billing, coding, and revenue cycle management. Experience managing budgets, financial reporting, and staff performance. Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance requirements. Proficiency with EHR systems and Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certified Medical Practice Executive (CMPE) or similar healthcare management certification. Experience in a multi-provider physician practice. Proven track record of improving operational efficiency and financial performance.
