Full Job Description Description DME Intake Coordinator, Ridgeland, MS Responsibilities:
Answer inbound calls and electronic requests from Social Workers, Nurses, Care Coordinators at hospitals and medical facilities across the state Input all patient data, provider orders, insurance information and other required details for processing orders in a timely fashion Communicate and troubleshoot with referral sources and patients regarding home medical equipment and supplies Submit authorization requests for all insurance types Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
DME experience required Data entry experience required Insurance experience required Strong verbal skills and professional telephone presence required Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills required Eagerness to learn required - this position involves ongoing training of insurance rules and regulations for the wide variety of home medical equipment and services Flexibility required The ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, including organization skills and attention to detail required Must be able to work productively without daily supervision Must be a team player
