MKTG Sports + Entertainment is looking for a Manager, Hospitality & Events (Registration), with a primary focus on event registration across global sports hospitality programs. This role supports the planning and execution of a robust registration system for premium hosting programs, ensuring seamless attendee management for Fortune 500 clients. This is a dynamic, detail-oriented role for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and enjoys balancing organization with execution. The Manager plays a key role in building and managing registration systems, tracking progress, and communicating updates to internal teams and clients, while continuously identifying opportunities to improve processes and enhance the attendee experience year over year. You will report to the Senior Director, Hospitality & Events. This position is based at our MKTG office in Charlotte, NC.You Will:
Collaborate with internal teams and clients to define, build, and manage registration components across multiple events Develop and maintain registration plans, timelines, and communication strategies to ensure smooth execution Oversee day-to-day registration operations, including guest list management, attendee communications, and inquiry resolution Manage registration platforms and event websites, ensuring accuracy, functionality, and a seamless user experience Track registration progress, monitor data, and provide regular status updates and insights to internal teams and clients Serve as a key point of contact for registration-related questions from guests, clients, and third-party vendors Support ticket distribution, guest itineraries, and on-site registration logistics to ensure a strong attendee experience Create client-ready materials including registration reports, guest lists, itineraries, event collateral and presentations as needed Lead or support client calls and internal meetings, clearly communicating timelines, status, and next steps Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment across registration, event operations, and guest experience Identify opportunities to improve registration processes, tools, and communications across events Evaluate registration performance post-event and provide recommendations to enhance efficiency and attendee experience year over year Provide support on broader event planning elements as needed, including premium/gifting ordering, organization, and other operational tasks based on team priorities and bandwidthYou Have:
Bachelor's degree required 5+ years of experience in corporate communications, program management Experience managing websites and guest registration platforms Exceptional client service and interpersonal skills, with experience supporting senior leaders and executives Proven experience supporting high-level corporate events and hospitality programs Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage complex, cross-functional initiatives Experience managing event logistics (guest trackers, rooming lists, transportation manifests) Ability to manage multiple projects and communication streams simultaneously in a fast-paced environment The annual salary range for this position is $54,000 - $72,500 annually. We base placement within the salary range on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, and other factors permitted by law.
