Job Description

Medical Billing Supervisor Fayetteville, NC Carolina Kidney Care is a busy, physician-led specialty practice seeking a strong and experienced Medical Billing Supervisor to lead our billing, coding, and revenue cycle operations. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated leader who understands medical billing, coding accuracy, denial management, and insurance reimbursement — and who wants to make a meaningful impact in a growing healthcare organization. What You'll Do Supervise billing, coding, and AR staff Oversee claims submission, denials, collections, and reimbursement follow-up Ensure accurate ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding Perform coding audits and identify missed revenue opportunities Monitor AR, denial trends, and collection performance Work closely with providers to improve documentation and charge capture Ensure compliance with Medicare and payer guidelines What We're Looking For 3-5+ years of medical billing experience Strong coding knowledge required Experience managing denials and AR follow-up Knowledge of insurance plans, payer rules, and reimbursement processes Supervisory experience preferred Experience with EHR/billing systems CPC or CCS certification preferred
Preferred:
Familiarity with nephrology billing and coding (including MCP) is a plus Experience in a multi-provider or multi-site practice Why Join Carolina Kidney Care?
