Job Description

The Associate Level Licensed Clinician for NC Crisis BHUC program is primarily responsible for initial assessment, diagnosis, and treatment recommendations, and coordination of clinical services to assigned clients.
QUALIFICATIONS
Must meet one of the following qualifications: -Licensed Psychologist, psychiatrist, LPC, MFT, CRNP, or LCSW. Experience in managing an individual caseload and providing clinical and treatment team leadership. Valid driver's license required. Must be 21 years of age. CPR/First Aid certification required. Must attend 12 hours of Person Centered Thinking training prior to or within 90 days of hire.
JOB DUTIES
Provide clinical services including initial assessment, diagnosis, treatment recommendations/planning, develops safety plans for discharge for the program using appropriate and sanctioned approaches, techniques and interventions. Participate in treatment planning, implementation, discharge and aftercare planning. Complete timely, effective and accurate documentation including, but not limited to biopsychosocial assessments, treatment plans and updates, progress notes, and discharge plans and reports. Make sound clinical decisions and judgments while advocating for client needs. Maintain regular communication with internal and external customers and provide psycho-education as necessary to appropriate customers. Support the therapeutic environment by participating in consultation and oversight with assigned supervisor to review clinical care and treatment issues. Follows recommended program and treatment strategies to all program staff and consult on client issues as needed. Meet with the Clinical Manager regarding matters involving staff consultation, personnel matters, and clinical issues or programming needs in general. Contribute to program development and innovative treatment strategies to maintain progressive and effective treatment. Perform all program or state specific job duties as assigned. All other duties as assigned by management.
