Job Description

Kinston Smiles Family Dental is looking for an experienced Dental Insurance Coordinator to join our growing team. Come join our family! This position is ideal for someone who is organized, dependable, confident communicating with patients, and experienced with dental insurance and front desk operations. Dental front desk experience is required. Responsibilities include verifying insurance benefits, submitting and following up on claims, reviewing treatment estimates, collecting patient balances, explaining insurance benefits to patients, managing aging reports and outstanding claims, posting insurance payments, handling pre-authorizations and pre-estimates, and assisting with general front desk responsibilities as needed.
The ideal candidate will have:
Previous dental front desk and insurance experience Strong knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, insurance claims, and benefit breakdowns Experience reviewing EOBs and resolving denied or unpaid claims Excellent communication and customer service skills Strong attention to detail and follow-through The ability to multitask in a busy private dental practice A professional, positive, and team-oriented attitude Open Dental experience is preferred but not required Kinston Smiles is a privately owned dental practice where our team works hard, supports one another, and focuses on providing an exceptional patient experience. We are looking for someone who takes ownership of their role and wants to become a long-term part of our office.
Schedule:
Monday through Thursday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM with Friday's as needed
Experience Required:
Dental front desk experience, including dental insurance verification, claims, and patient billing. Please submit your resume and include a brief description of your previous dental insurance and front desk experience.
