Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY
Serve as the front office team lead for the ENT and Urology practices, supporting daily front desk workflow and ensuring excellent customer service. Assist with front office activities, including patient check-in, check-out, scheduling, referrals, and phone coverage. Fully understand scheduling protocols, registration processes and referrals. Perform patient check-in and check-out processes, including verification of demographic and insurance information, collection of required documentation, and scheduling of follow-up appointments. Answer incoming telephone calls promptly and professionally and assist with routing patient requests and messages appropriately. Obtain, verify, and accurately enter patient information into the electronic medical record (EMR) system. Alongside clinic leadership, support front office staff training and ongoing adherence to departmental procedures. Monitor work queues, referrals, and scheduling activities to help ensure timely completion and follow-up. Protect patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA, organizational policies, and regulatory requirements. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by Clinic Leadership.
POSITION SUMMARY
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent with at least one year of general medical office or hospital experience. Must have general knowledge of medical terminology. Experience with coordination of scheduling and patient flow required. Willingness to keep up with current Medicare, Medicaid and insurance regulations and attend necessary seminars and workshops.
