About Us:
We are a dental practice that also specializes in sleep medicine. We are dedicated to improving our patients' overall health and quality of life. Our team is small, friendly, and highly collaborative and we're currently looking for someone just as dedicated to join us.
Position Overview:
We're seeking a Patient Care Coordinator who is compassionate, organized, and an excellent communicator. This role will support both the dental and sleep sides of the practice, with a primary focus on the medical/sleep aspect. If you're someone who thrives in a patient-centered environment and has experience with dental or medical insurance billing, we'd love to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and assist patients with scheduling appointments Answer incoming calls, scheduling patients for both dental and sleep appointments with clear communication Explain treatment plans and procedures Submit and follow up on dental and medical insurance claims Collaborate with clinical team members to ensure seamless patient experiences Maintain accurate patient records Use multiple software platforms effectively to schedule patients, gather and organize required documentation for insurance and billing
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in both medical and dental insurance Prior experience in dental, medical, or sleep-focused practice is a plus Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills Comfortable navigating and utilizing multiple software systems Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure A friendly and empathetic personality with strong communication skills Familiarity with Eaglesoft and OpenDental software is preferred Why Join Us?
