A Brief Overview Responsible for the clinical compliance and quality of the Mobile ICU and Basic Life Support Departments through education and quality assurance. May occasionally staff a paramedic or BLS vehicle, and be put on special assignment. Assists the Director as needed with the operational functions of the department. What you will do Clinical Oversight & Standards
  • Reviews charts, telemetry, and field performance to ensure regulatory and clinical compliance with hands on clinical involvement when needed Quality Assurance & Performance Improvement
  • Identifies opportunities for improvement; participates in hospital QA committees; supports smooth transition from field to ED Department Education & Training
  • Develops and coordinates staff training, competencies, onboarding, and continuing education; facilitates EMS-hospital cross-training Credentialing & Compliance
  • Tracks staff licenses and certifications; facilitates renewals and regulatory compliance Academic & Student Programs
  • Coordinates paramedic student sponsorships; liaises with paramedic education programs; represents department on clinical education committees Leadership & Supervision
  • Supervises department operations in absence of Director; supports staff across educational and programmatic roles Staffing & Scheduling
  • supports director in staff scheduling Community Outreach & Public Relations
  • Provides community education; represents hospital in communities served; collaborates with external agencies Mobile Integrated Health (MIH) Program
  • Develops, implements, and oversees MIH program; supervises community paramedics Data, Metrics & Reporting
  • Uses program data to evaluate MIH effectiveness and system performance Financial & Resource Management
  • supports the director in fiscal management Safety, Equipment & Environment
  • Supports system integration and operational readiness Professional Development & Representation
  • Represents hospital in professional and trade organizations; serves on committees Additional Duties
  • Performs other duties as assigned Education Qualifications Bachelor's Degree EMS, Healthcare, education, or related field required Experience Qualifications 5+ years previous work related experience and/or teaching experience required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Licenses and Certifications

Pay Range:
$115,000
