Conduct thorough resident assessments and evaluations as needed in collaboration with the HWD.Maintain resident files in an organized manner and document all pertinent information accurately.
Ensure resident care needs are met according to physician orders, state regulations, and company policies.
Assist the HWD with monitoring resident progress and evaluating the effectiveness of care plans through written progress notes and verbal communication with residents and staff.
Conduct nursing audits as required (e.g., medication carts, EMAR/TARS) to ensure compliance with regulations and company policies.
Provide leadership and mentorship to health and wellness staff, ensuring optimal staffing levels, shift schedules, and operational efficiency.
Investigate resident and family complaints or concerns regarding the nursing department and report findings to the director, taking actions to resolve issues.
Communicate changes in resident condition to physicians, family members, and staff.
Assist with coordinating ancillary support services for residents.
Assist with nurse coverage as needed.
Implement and participate in in-service training for associates in accordance with state regulations.
Monitor and document resident monthly vitals, weights, and progress notes in the Electronic Medical Record. Be available to respond to on-call responsibilities as needed. Participate in scheduled training and professional development activities.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Health and Wellness Director.

The Assistant Health and Wellness Director (AWD) collaborate with the Health and Wellness Director to plan, implement, and evaluate resident care while ensuring the highest quality of clinical services. This role involves assisting in directing the overall operations of the nursing department, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, and providing comprehensive care in accordance with current standards, guidelines, and company policies.Key Responsibilities:
