Outpatient Behavioral Health Program Director LCSW and LCADC Power House Psychotherapy & Addiction, LLC Newark, NJ Job Details Part-time | Full-time $65,000 - $70,000 a year 1 day ago Benefits Paid time off Flexible schedule Qualifications Bilingual Spanish Program design Program management Social Work License Individual therapy English Outpatient Master's degree Team development Substance abuse counseling Clinical counseling Outpatient services management Community relationship building Working with individuals with substance use disorders Substance abuse services in social work Full Job Description A full-time exempt status position for the purpose of assessing, authorizing, supervising, and delivering care to children, adolescents, and adults with substance use disorders, mental illness, and co-occurring disorders. In addition, the PD ensures that high-quality care is delivered in accordance with Licensing requirements, Agency policies and procedures, and practices.
Responsibilities:
Performs a comprehensive clinical needs assessment. Contributes to the development, implementation, monitoring, and updating of the individualized treatment plan. Perform therapeutic clinical skills development. Offers services appropriate to meet the clients' needs. Provide crisis intervention and 24-hour on-call support to employees and clients, including crisis intervention and emergency services linkages. Coordinates, manages, supervises, and delivers all services and in conjunction with the clinical team including assessment, evaluation, treatment planning, case conferences, referrals for services, family meetings, group work, individual counseling, consumer advocacy, liaison with other community agencies, discharges, and any other services outlined or defined in the SUD and MH regulations. Participates in program development, implementation of new initiatives, and marketing/community engagement activities. Provides support, clinical supervision, and direction to all programs employees including orientation, training, performance evaluation, and professional development. Assists consumers in accessing and engaging with community-based wellness and recovery services. Protects client rights and responsibilities. Ensures services provided adhere to local, state, federal, and accreditation standards. Follows Agency financial procedures. Documents service delivery accurately and timely while ensuring consumer confidentiality. Organizes, attends, and participates in team, committee, supervision, and training meetings. Coordinates with other providers to maximize service integration and client opportunity. Assumes other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the administrator and clinical director.Minimum Qualifications:
NJ LCADC and LCSW or LPC required. A Master's degree in Social Work or A Master's Degree in a recognized Behavioral Health discipline Experience providing services to individuals with substance use disorders, mental illness disorders, and co-occurring disorders. Knowledge of mental health disorders treatment and substance use disorders principles. Demonstrated ability in the development, management, and provision of comprehensive outpatient behavioral health programs/ services. Demonstrated ability to work respectfully and productively with clients and professional staff.Job Types:
