Full Job Description Key Responsibilities:
Schedule outpatient cardiology procedures and testings Confirm provider orders and ensure appropriate prep instructions are shared with the patient Communicate fasting or medication instructions for necessary testings and procedures Educate patients on upcoming tests or procedures, pre-visit preparation, and post-visit expectations Serve as a point of contact for patient questions and concerns Follow up with patients for results appointments or additional testing as needed Ensure all prior records, labs, and imaging results are available before procedures Maintain clear communication with providers about urgent scheduling needs Accurately document all activities, appointments, authorizations, and patient communications in the EMR system Track procedure completion and assist with follow-up coordination Ensure HIPAA compliance and maintain confidentiality in all patient interactions
Qualifications:
Education & Experience High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree or medical certification preferred Minimum 2 years of experience in healthcare setting Skills & Competencies Detail-oriented with excellent multitasking skills Strong verbal and written communication Compassionate and professional when dealing with patients Proficient in EMR systems and
Microsoft Office Bilingual English and Spanish Preferred Job Type:
