Patient Care Coordinator at our Toms River Outpatient Clinic About Us Atlantic Physical Therapy Center is a therapist-owned outpatient practice dedicated to providing exceptional, patient-centered care throughout New Jersey. Our clinics focus on creating a welcoming, supportive environment where patients feel cared for from the moment they walk through the door. We are seeking a friendly, organized, and dependable Patient Care Coordinator to join our team. Position Overview The Patient Care Coordinator (PCC) is the first point of contact for our patients and plays a key role in creating a positive clinic experience. This position involves administrative, scheduling, and customer service responsibilities. The ideal candidate is warm, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced, team-based environment. Key Responsibilities Greet patients with a friendly, professional demeanor Check patients in/out and manage daily flow of the clinic Schedule and confirm appointments Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and provide exceptional customer service Verify insurance benefits and obtain authorizations Collect copays and manage patient account balances Maintain accurate and organized patient records Support therapists and clinical staff with daily administrative tasks Ensure the front desk and waiting area remain clean and welcoming Qualifications Previous administrative, medical office, or customer service experience preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy environment Comfortable using computers, EMR systems, and phone systems Professional, reliable, and team-oriented High school diploma or equivalent required What We Offer Competitive salary Medical, dental, and vision benefits (for eligible employees) Paid time off and paid holidays 401(k) with employer match (if applicable) Employee wellness programs A friendly, positive, team-driven work environment Opportunities for growth within a therapist-owned organization Why Join Atlantic Physical Therapy Center?
