Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a reliable, organized, and client-focused Behavioral Health Front Desk Coordinator to support daily operations within a co-occurring substance abouse treatment center. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, professionalism, and the ability to maintain structure while providing a welcoming and supportive atmosphere. This role combines behavioral health support with administrative coordination, scheduling, and front desk responsibilities. The Behavioral Health Front Desk Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring smooth daily operations while positively representing the program to clients, families, and visitors. Duties Greet clients, families, and visitors in a professional, respectful, and positive manner Check clients in and out of services and ensure attendance is accurately tracked Oversee front desk operations, including answering multi-line phones and directing calls appropriately Provide Behavioral Health Technician support, including monitoring client behavior, maintaining structure, and supporting program expectations Observe, document, and report client concerns or behavioral issues to leadership as needed Assist with daily scheduling, calendar coordination, and organization of client schedules Maintain a calm and supportive office environment that promotes safety and engagement Coordinate communication between clinical and operations teams Support administrative tasks such as filing, documentation tracking, and supply organization Ensure compliance with program policies, procedures, and confidentiality standards Experience Previous experience as a Behavioral Health Technician or in a mental health support role preferred Experience with front desk operations, scheduling, or administrative coordination Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities Excellent communication and customer-service skills Ability to enforce program expectations while maintaining a supportive and respectful approach Comfortable working in a fast-paced mental health environment Prior experience with clerical tasks such as filing, phone management, and record organization This role provides an engaging opportunity to support clients directly while assisting with organization, coordination, and fostering a positive, structured environment.
