Overview:
Summit Dental seeks a Patient Care Coordinator to serve as the first point of contact for our patients. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a professional demeanor, and strong administrative capabilities. As the Patient Coordinator, you will manage daily front desk operations, coordinate appointments, handle correspondence, and support office management functions to ensure a welcoming and efficient environment for our patients. Compensation $15 - $20 an hour based on experience Schedule Full-time 4 day work week Benefits Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance Generous PTO and paid holidays Traditional and Roth 401(k) options Duties Greet patients warmly and provide exceptional customer service at all times. Manage a multi-line phone system, directing calls accurately and professionally. Maintain an organized front desk area, including filing, data entry, and document proofreading for patient records. Schedule appointments and manage calendars using Dentrix dental software. Handle incoming and outgoing patient/Doctor correspondence via email, phone, fax, and postal mail with attention to detail. Support in Insurance Claim submittion and verification, preauthorizations, and Collection tasks, assisting with outstanding and Aging Reports . Coordinate office supplies, inventory control, and general administrative support to ensure smooth daily operations. Presenting dental treatment and financials to patients in detail with accuracy Experience Proficiency in computer literacy, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel), and Dentrix Dental Software, preferred Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills to handle inquiries professionally Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse client needs effectively Experience with front desk operations in medical or dental offices is a plus; familiarity with Dental/Medical receptionist duties is beneficial Demonstrated ability to manage time efficiently while maintaining accuracy in data entry and filing tasks Join our team as a Front Office Patient Coordinator to deliver outstanding administrative support that enhances operational efficiency and creates a welcoming atmosphere for all Patients and staff!
