Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Patient Care Coordinator/Office Manager to join our healthcare team. In this vital role, you will serve as the first point of contact for patients, ensuring a warm, welcoming environment while managing the daily operations of our plastic surgery office. Your energetic approach will help streamline patient flow, coordinate care, and support the clinical team to deliver exceptional service. This position offers an exciting opportunity to combine administrative expertise with patient-centered care in a fast-paced, rewarding setting. Duties Greet patients warmly and efficiently check them in and out, ensuring a positive experience from arrival to departure Schedule appointments, manage cancellations, and coordinate follow-up visits using our practice management software Verify patient insurance information and process billing or payments accurately Maintain organized patient records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with healthcare regulations Assist with medical or dental administrative tasks such as preparing charts, updating patient information, and handling correspondence Communicate clearly with patients regarding treatment plans, instructions, and appointment details Support clinical staff by managing supply inventory and ensuring the office environment remains clean and welcoming Qualifications Previous experience in a front desk, reception, or medical office management role, typically 2+ years Strong knowledge of medical terminology to accurately understand and communicate clinical information Proficiency in medical administrative support tasks including scheduling, billing, and record keeping Office experience that highlights strong communication skills and professionalism Prior plastic surgery office experience is highly desirable but not required Ability to work independently while collaborating seamlessly with clinical staff Knowledge of office software (spreadsheets, email) and Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems (e.g. 4D EMR) Strong multitasking abilities, attention to detail, and a patient-centric, empathetic, and professional demeanor Join us to make a meaningful impact on patient care while advancing your career in a vibrant healthcare environment!
