Job Description

Position Summary The Patient Care Coordinator supports the day-to-day operations of the practice by managing patient scheduling, insurance coordination, billing, collections, and front office administrative duties. This role is essential to providing excellent patient service while helping maintain an efficient and financially healthy practice. We are a one doctor, individually owned practice. Key Responsibilities Welcome and assist patients with a friendly, professional attitude. Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments. Follow up with patients regarding treatment, recalls, and outstanding balances. Verify dental insurance benefits and eligibility. Submit, review, and follow up on insurance claims, predeterminations, and aging reports. Contact insurance companies to resolve outstanding claims and payment issues. Process billing, collect patient payments, and discuss financial responsibilities. Check patients in and out and maintain accurate patient records. Generate and review practice reports, including insurance aging (minimum twice monthly). Order front office supplies and maintain inventory. Process daily bank deposits. Assist with additional administrative tasks to support efficient office operations. Work with Dentrix dental management software Qualifications Dental or medical front office experience preferred. Knowledge of dental insurance, billing, and claims processing. Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills. Ability to multitask and also work independently as needed

8 am•3 pm (1 pm in the Summer months)

$21.00•$24.00 per hour
