In this high impact role within the Division of University Advancement , the Assistant Director of Leadership Annual Giving - Health Sciences plays a key role in a cutting edge annual giving program designed to engage and grow the next generation of philanthropic supporters. This position focuses on delivering a first class philanthropic experience for donors connected to UB's health sciences schools through personalized digital and in person engagement. The Assistant Director contributes directly to annual giving success while helping build a strong pipeline of future major gift support, making a meaningful impact on UB's mission today and for the future. Key responsibilities will include:
Donor relationship management & outreach (portfolio of 600-800 alumni and friends with a focus on gifts of $1,000-$50,000) Personalized digital & 1:1 engagement (high velocity outreach using email, video, CRM tools, and in person connections) Fundraising & pipeline development (solicitation, stewardship, and referral of qualified major gift prospects) Campaign execution & collaboration (partnering with Annual Giving, Alumni Engagement, Advancement Communications, and health sciences advancement teams) Data driven activity & reporting (CRM hygiene, portfolio management, and performance tracking) About theDivision:

Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree. Three years of experience in a fund-development role, with demonstrated success in goal-achievement, planning and personal solicitation. Related experience in professional sales/marketing, financial planning/advising and other fields will be considered. Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills across mediums, especially via video conferencing. Strong collaboration and organizational skills, as well as the ability to prioritize effectively. Strong work ethic. Able to handle confidential material responsibly and interact professionally with a wide spectrum of individuals. A combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of the requirement. Preferred Qualifications Physical Demands Driving Requirements This position does not drive a university owned vehicle Salary Range $55,000 - $65,000 Additional Salary Information The salary range reflects our good faith and reasonable estimate of the possible compensation at the time of posting, the role and associated responsibilities, and the experience, education, and training of the selected candidate.
