What you'll do Provides administrative leadership in collaboration with clinical chiefs, nursing and executive management teams to fulfill day to day system requirements and network strategic initiatives. Accountable for administrative and operational results with responsibility of strategic planning, clinical operations, financial and human resource management, program development, management and promotion, and practitioner recruitment and retention. Initiates or is assigned responsibility for managing operating system tactical projects to advance departmental and organizational goals. Access and review the organizational structure to position the departments to pursue the mission, vision and network strategic objectives.
- Financial Resource Management
- Plans, develops and implements the operational budget and assumes accountability to report variances and manage budgets.
- Ensures that all departmental capital and operating budgets are developed in a timely and accurate manner. Ensures that budgets link effectively to the corporate strategic and annual operating plans.
- Monthly financial analyses are available to dyad chief and executive leaders
- Ensures special funds accounts are utilized according to policy.
- Monitors accomplishment of agreed upon objectives at the departmental level; and where appropriate, institutes corrective actions, including reallocating resources, reprioritizing, and/or recommending modifications to established plans.
- Develops service improvements, management systems, expense control programs etc. to ensure achievement of financial objectives.
- Negotiate annual budgets to maximize financial support for applicable programs.
- Ensures compliance with reimbursement regulations and provides information to maximize reimbursement funding.
