Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic dental team as a Dental Patient Coordinator & Receptionist, where your energetic and friendly approach will create a welcoming environment for every patient. In this vital role, you will serve as the first point of contact, managing patient intake, scheduling appointments, verifying insurance, and ensuring smooth office operations. Your organizational skills and attention to detail will help us deliver exceptional patient care while maintaining efficient clinic workflows. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a vibrant healthcare setting dedicated to improving oral health and patient experience.
REQUIREMENT
Must be bilingual: Mandarin and English. Previous dental office or medical office experience Patient Relationship management and coordination Welcome new and existing patients with a personable greeting. Answer and take phone calls to discuss questions, treatment plans, and follow up care in a timely manner. Seat patients in a timely manner for patients scheduled appointment. Confirm and collect payment for treatment prior to seating Discuss treatment plan and options offering guidance with treatment, finances, and any other questions they may have. Confirm insurance benefits with front reception Discuss finance options with patients offering financing such as Care Credit After treatment protocol to include post operative care and instructions, financial responsibilities, are addressed. Confirm follow up appointments with patient and checking in. Patient Engagement Ensure lab cases are sent, picked up, and received. Confirm scanned cases have been submitted
Cleaning and Organzing:
Keep front desk area clean and tidy Treatment assistance: when necessary, assist with setup/ breakdown of operatories, and even assist with patient treatment
Office Staff Coordination:
Assist with coordinating with dentists, hygienists, and assistants to manage patient flow Communicate relevant patient information to clinical staff before appointments Keep track of staff time off and coverage as needed. Communicate schedule updates clearly and promptly to all team members
Other Collaborative Efforts:
Provide information to the Social Media and Marketing about products and services Assist with any social media or marketing-related work when needed. Assist the Content Creator/Business Consultant when applicable.
Additional Tasks May Include:
Administrative:
Ensure cash balances matches the ledger EOD.
Office Correspondence:
service communication.
Inventory:
replenish office-related materials when needed (Kleenex, paper towels, office supplies) Join us in making a difference by providing outstanding administrative support that enhances the patient experience. Your enthusiasm and expertise will contribute significantly to our clinic's success!
Pay:
$25.00 - $35.00 per hour
