Primary Care seeks high energy, detailed and organized Coordinator for our corporate management office in Great Neck, NY. Build relationships with physician members and their office staffs to ensure their success in the new models of value based payments, population health and clinical integration. Growing organization with room for advancement. Use Excel analyses to help increase patient preventive care and health screenings; work on patient satisfaction; track and resolve issues. Ideal job for recent college grad -
Health Care Administration or Public Health Key Duties:
Manage highly confidential physician and patient information Serve as primary contact for office managers' and physicians' questions regarding various payor programs such as Quality, MIPS, Chronic Care Management, Health Plan Incentive Programs Educate and support practices on company healthcare software utilized by physicians & staff, including telephonic questions, development of email responses, and creation of training materials Maintain multiple lists in Excel, and track communications in various software and apps Utilize findings from Analytics Team to execute solutions to identified gaps and issues Support field managers - making sure they have required materials, providing updates, faxing and making binders, folders May visit new doctors offices for orientation to the program (as needed; less than 10% of job)
Requirements:
The right candidate has: Bachelors Degree with aspirations for Masters Strong communication skills to build relationships with doctor's office managers and staffs via telephone communications Professional demeanor as you will frequently be the "voice" of the company, communicating with our doctors' managers and staffs, and on occasion, their patients. Team skills -- you enjoy being part of a team effort to keep our doctors' offices working together through your excellent communications, follow-up, and tracking. Confidence and knows how to use their voice to achieve the desired outcome Superstar organizational skills to juggle a fast-paced, constantly growing environment Strong Excel, Powerpoint and Word skills Willingness to learn new things and strong intellectual curiosity to know how things work, and moreover how you and the team can improve upon the current state You are detail-oriented, and always check your work. You know that all team members play an important role. You enjoy working and learning, and want to build a career from your hard work, and going the "extra mile". This is an entry level position with a rapidly growing company with room for rapid advancement.
