We are currently seeking a Medicaid Coordinator/Certified Application Counselor in our Patient Accounts Department.

Responsibilities include:

Coordination of the Medicaid process Work closely with the DSS/HRA offices to help patients maintain coverage and avoid lapse in coverage Help patients to acquire prescription coverage through Medicaid grant program - Magellan Health.

Qualifications include:

High school diploma Deputized New York State Certified Application Counselor -certification can be obtained during employee probationary period Electronic billing and computer skills Knowledge of Microsoft excel
