Responsibilities Greet patients warmly and assist them with check-in procedures, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed accurately. Manage electronic health records (EHR) systems efficiently, updating patient information and scheduling appointments with precision. Coordinate with medical staff to schedule appointments, follow-up visits, and diagnostic tests while optimizing provider schedules. Verify insurance coverage, explain benefits to patients, and assist with health insurance questions to facilitate smooth billing processes. Maintain compliance with health regulation policies by adhering to confidentiality standards and documentation protocols. Support medical administrative tasks such as preparing patient charts, managing correspondence, and handling billing inquiries. Communicate clearly with patients regarding treatment plans, appointment reminders, and post-visit instructions to enhance patient satisfaction. Experience Prior experience working in a medical or dental office setting is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of health regulation policies and medical administrative support practices. Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) or Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems for managing patient data effectively. Understanding of health insurance processes and terminology to assist patients accurately. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to both general healthcare and dental practices is advantageous. Office experience demonstrating proficiency in handling administrative duties within a healthcare setting.
