SUMMARY

Family Service League is seeking a full-time Licensed Behavioral Health Clinical Supervisor for our Mental Health Clinic in Huntington. The Licensed Behavioral Health Clinical Supervisor will assist the Program Director in providing clinical and administrative oversight. The Licensed Behavioral Health Clinical Supervisor will be responsible for providing individual and group supervision, monitoring documentation, and providing direct service. This position will require an understanding of program outcomes, performance indicators, and program evaluation tools. We offer a generous benefits package including the following:

RESPONSIBILITIES
The Supervisor will provide culturally competent and sensitive services to a small caseload.

Provide individual and group therapy to a small caseload of adults, children, and adolescents with the full range of DSM diagnoses in a clinic setting, including co-occurring disorders.

Work closely with all direct and support staff including psychiatric staff to ensure the appropriate treatment interventions for the client and his/her family.

The Supervisor will complete all clinical documentation in accordance with NYS Office of Mental Health in an electronic medical record.

Provide clinical and administrative supervision to staff, interns, and limited permit holders.

Provide guidance and direction to all staff and interfaces with other community organizations.

The Supervisor will ensure access to services, improve health outcomes, reduce preventable hospitalizations and emergency room visits for our clients.

Audit charts according to NYS OMH and COA regulationsManage crisis situations as needed, including on call.

Attend routine supervision/team meeting.

Ensure the teams delivery to provide families with the adequate resources that encourage development of skills necessary to improve overall functioning and reduction of hospitalizations.

All other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Masters degree in social work or related field required. LMSW, LCSW, LMHC, Ph.D./PsyD or licensed professional in a related field required.

Minimum of 3 years of prior experience working in a mental health clinic setting, including serving clients with co-occurring disorders and at least 1 year of supervisory experience in a behavioral health setting required. Excellent interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills required. Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office, and EHR experience required. Valid and clean NYS Drivers License required. Bilingual in Spanish preferred.

SIFI certification preferred.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
This position requires sitting for long periods of time.
