Summary:
Associate will provide clerical support to the clinical staff for the LIFE program. This includes assisting with the coordination for authorization of services for LIFE participants and basic clerical functions.
Responsibilities:
EDUCATION
High School diploma or GED Associates Degree in business or health related field preferred
EXPERIENCE
One (1) year switchboard experience preferred Previous computer experience required Medical terminology preferred Customer service experience preferred
KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY
Understands and maintains the confidential nature of the information handled and discussed Ability to work as part of a team and interact with all departments within the organization in positive, respectful manner Ability to function autonomously Able to deal with interruptions and still remain focused and positive in a fast paced environment Must have basic typing skills and good Microsoft Office skills Ability to learn other software as needed Ability to work independently set priorities and organizes work Ability to deal effectively with the demands of the job in a pleasant and courteous manner Ability to communicate clearly and politely with others Accepts direction in a willing and positive manner Understands and practices the ethical, professional and legal obligations of the Catholic Health Corporate Compliance Program Consistently demonstrates positive, helpful, respectful manner and voice tone
WORKING CONDITIONS
Long periods of sitting, long periods of talking on phone and/or paging May be required to work overtime, holidays and weekends as needed Normal heat, light space, and safe working environment; typical of most office jobs
