Job Duties Schedule appointments for patients. Answer telephone promptly and in a polite and professional manner. Obtain and enter accurate demographic information into patients account Ability to effectively triage calls to ensure appropriate scheduling Use judgment in handling calls to advise patients on best office and times to make appointments. Ability to speak clearly in order to communicate effectively between patient and provider, provide pre-visit instructions/directions, and relay provider instructions. Promotes sense of pride in call center and positive interpersonal relations among all team members. Demonstrates flexibility in providing coverage and/or availability for the call center via scheduling adjustments for unexpected absences, events, or call volume variances Scheduling patient visits and answer questions, including billing and preparation Communicating with patients about their status and condition through emails, phone. Requirements Familiar with reading medical records Proficient in Google Sheets, Microsoft Excel/Word Extremely detail oriented /organized Able to meet deadlines Spanish speaking preferred
