N/A Job Summary Join our dynamic dental team at Torrado Dental as a Patient Treatment Coordinator, where your enthusiasm, professionalism, and organizational skills will help transform patient experiences! In this vital role, you will serve as the bridge between patients and our dental professionals, educating patients through treatment plans, scheduling appointments, and ensuring a smooth, positive journey from consultation to completion. Your proactive approach will empower patients to make informed decisions about their oral health while supporting the practice's operational excellence. Duties Welcome new and existing patients warmly into the practice and consult with existing patients about recommended treatment. Build lasting relationships between patients and Torrado Dental. Explain treatment options clearly, addressing patient questions with confidence and professionalism Coordinate with dental providers to ensure timely delivery of care and follow-up appointments Manage patient records accurately, including insurance details, treatment notes, and billing information Verify insurance coverage and assist patients with financial arrangements or payment plans Follow up with patients post-treatment to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns Support administrative tasks such as answering phones, confirming appointments Education & Experience High school diploma or
GED Preferred:
Associate's or Bachelor's degrees in healthcare administration, business, or nursing
Preferred:
2+ years of prior experience as a treatment coordinator in a dental or medical office
Insurance Knowledge:
Navigating benefits, CDT codes, and copays.
Financial Planning:
Discussing third-party financing and payment arrangements.
Software Proficiency:
Familiarity with dental practice management systems Experience with Dental Terminology, Practice Management Software (Open Dental), Medical Billing/Insurance, HIPAA Compliance, and Customer Service, strongly preferred. Skills Proven experience in a medical or dental office setting, demonstrating excellent organizational skills Strong knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dental care and treatments Exceptional communication skills to explain procedures clearly and empathetically to patients Ability to support medical administrative functions efficiently in a fast-paced environment Familiarity with dental office workflows, insurance processing, and appointment scheduling software (OpenDental) Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy in record keeping and data entry within the OpenDental system Positive attitude with a proactive approach to problem-solving and patient service excellence Physical Demands The below represents duties that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Dexterity and Vision :

Communication:
Must be able to hear and communicate comfortably and clearly with patients and staff both in person and over the telephone.
