Job Description

Are you passionate about supporting survivors of domestic and sexual violence and making a meaningful difference in your community? Were seeking a dedicated, compassionate Victim Advocate to join our team and provide critical, trauma-informed services to individuals and families in need.

Monday - FridaySign on bonus may apply to those eliigibleKey ResponsibilitiesProvide victim-centered, trauma-informed case management to survivors and their familiesAssist clients in locating and securing safe, stable housingOffer emotional support, crisis intervention, and safety planningRespond to domestic violence and PREA hotline calls, providing support and referralsSupport clients with life skills developmentConnect clients to community resources and supportive servicesFoster a workplace culture rooted in inclusion, respect, and belongingQualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED requiredMinimum 2 years of experience working with survivors of domestic violence or similar populationsValid, clean New York State drivers license and reliable transportationAssociates or Bachelors degree in a related field preferredBenefits 13 paid days off in your first year for full time employment (increases every year)56 hours of NYS Sick Leave12 paid holidays plus 2 floating holidaysMajor medical leave, Medical/dental/vision/life insurance403b company contributions after one year of employment, Tuition reimbursement 50% reduction in childcare tuition at A Child's Place, Plus, gym, tuition and cell phone discounts Come work for an agency that cares about their employees and community!
