Job Description

This well-respected hearing healthcare organization, is seeking a Patient Care Coordinator in the Yorktown Heights, NY area to serve as the first point of contact for patients and play a key role in delivering an exceptional patient experience. Key Responsibilities:
Patient Experience & Front Office Support Welcome patients and visitors in a warm, professional manner. Answer incoming calls promptly and professionally. Assist with patient check-in and check-out procedures. Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting reception area. Scheduling & Administrative Coordination Manage provider schedules to maximize efficiency. Schedule, reschedule, and confirm appointments. Conduct follow-up calls for new patients, cancellations, and missed appointments. Facilitate daily team meetings and coordinate clinic workflow activities. Document appointment outcomes and update patient information Patient Records & Compliance Maintain accurate patient records and documentation. Update demographic, insurance, and medical information as needed. Assist with patient file organization and record maintenance. Insurance, Billing & Financial Administration Collect and verify insurance information. Submit insurance-related requests and monitor claim status. Process patient payments. Assist with accounts receivable activities and deposit reconciliation. Marketing & Patient Retention Help support patient outreach and retention initiatives. Participate in community events, promotions, and special clinic activities. Assist with patient communication campaigns and recall efforts. General Clinic Operations Monitor office supply levels and coordinate ordering needs. Support daily operational processes to ensure smooth clinic performance. Assist with additional administrative and clinic duties as assigned.
