Manager of Specialty Access CHC Addiction Services - 3.3 Akron, OH Job Details Full-time 1 day ago Benefits 403(b) matching Paid holidays Health insurance Dental insurance Employee assistance program Vision insurance 403(b) Referral program Qualifications Bachelor's degree Full Job Description CHC is a non-profit social service agency in the Akron area whose mission is to treat, inspire, support and empower individuals and families impacted by the disease of addiction. CHC has been a critical part of Ohio's efforts to treat and prevent substance use disorders since 1974. We are currently looking for a motivated, conscientious Manager of Specialty Access, to work full time in our behavioral health agency. The Manager of Specialty Access manages special admissions to the agency, including, but not limited to, residential, PHP, MAT transfers, people on the ADM access list, and pregnant clients who are appropriate to access care at the agency.
Minimum Requirements:
BA/BS in Psychology/Social Work. Must have LSW, LICDC or credentials that conform to OhioMHAS regulations. Knowledge in chemical dependency/addiction preferred. Demonstrates the ability to suggest or recommend persons for hire, fire, advancement, promotion or other changes in status.
Responsibilities:
Manage MAT transfer patients by coordinating with medical and counseling department to ensure appropriate care and treatment Obtain MAT records from previous providers and ensure they are accurately documented in patient records Staff with medical and counseling department as well as the MAT Committee to determine appropriates for transfer and ensure patients receive the appropriate level of care Manage intake medical appointments by scheduling and coordinating with medical staff to ensure timely and appropriate care Manage care for pregnant patients to access care within the agency to include MAT and PHP services by coordinating with medical and counseling department to ensure appropriate care and treatment Why you would love it here: Medical, dental and vision benefits for employees working 30+ hours weekly! 32 paid days off per year!
