Summary:
Coordinates the workflow and day-to-day activities of medical office and employees while maintaining a collaborative working environment. Supports the daily operations relative to patient care and managing the office functions (e.g., coordinating physician schedules, patient rescheduling, referral, and prior authorization support). Promotes positive employee morale and ensures all office operations are handled effectively, professionally, and in an expeditious manner. Keeps Practice Manager informed of any processes or concerns related to office operations.
Minimum Qualifications:
1.
Formal Education Required:
a. High School Diploma or equivalent b. Medical Diploma/License/Certification or Associate Degree preferred 2.
Experience & Training Required:
a. Two (2) years of previous medical office experience (i.e., Medical Assistant, Medical Receptionist; Referral Coordinator); Physician office setting preferred b. Previous experience working in EMR and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.) preferred 3.

a. Excellent interpersonal skills b. Proficient communication skills to include working collaboratively with patients, families, clinical co-workers, as well as, internal and external departments c. Ability to be highly motivated, work collaboratively, and work in a fast paced stressful and unpredictable environment d. Ability to process and complete assigned reporting requirements e. Previous experience and understanding of financial acumen f. Knowledge of clinical quality standards g. Exhibits effective leaderships skills h. Ability to complete tasks in an organized and timely fashion i. Ability to adapt to daily changes j. Computer proficiency k.

Ability to effectively interact with populations of patients/customers with an understanding of their needs for self-respect and dignity 4.
