Job Type Full-time Description Appleseed Community Mental Health Center, Inc. - Ashland, OH $64,000 - $75,000 annually (based on education and experience) Leadership opportunity | PSLF eligible | PTO (32+ days annually) Lead a team. We're looking for an experienced LISW-S, LPCC-S, or IFMT-S who is passionate about developing clinicians, improving behavioral health services, and helping individuals with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders achieve lasting recovery. This role combines clinical leadership, program development, community collaboration, and a small amount of direct client care. You'll have the opportunity to mentor staff, oversee grant-funded initiatives, strengthen community partnerships, and help shape the future of our growing Co-Occurring Services program. Why you'll love working at Appleseed Supportive executive leadership that values innovation Opportunity to shape and grow an established co-occurring program Collaborative multidisciplinary team Meaningful leadership role with direct community impact Opportunities for continued professional growth What You'll Do Clinical Leadership Provide clinical and administrative supervision to counselors, case managers, peer staff, and support personnel Mentor and develop staff through supervision, coaching, and performance management Review clinical documentation to ensure quality, compliance, and best practices Participate in hiring, onboarding, training, and staff evaluations Maintain a small direct client caseload (approximately 10%) Program Management Oversee the daily operations of the Co-Occurring Services program Manage grant-funded initiatives, program outcomes, reporting, and quality improvement efforts Support implementation of evidence-based practices and continuous program development Community Partnerships Collaborate with courts, schools, healthcare providers, law enforcement, Children's Services, and other community partners to improve client outcomes Represent Appleseed on community coalitions, committees, and outreach initiatives Support community education, prevention efforts, and recovery-focused programming Staff & Program Development Lead Co-Occurring team meetings and promote a collaborative team culture Identify service gaps and implement improvements to strengthen program effectiveness Support ongoing staff education and the delivery of trauma-informed, person-centered care What we're looking for Strong leadership and supervisory skills Experience working with individuals with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities Knowledge of Medicaid, clinical documentation, and behavioral health regulations Experience with quality improvement and program development Ability to manage multiple priorities while supporting staff success Required Qualifications LISW-S, LPCC-S, or
