At EyeDocs Family Eye Care, our Patient Care Coordinators are an essential part of making each patient's visit smooth and stress-free. This role is more than a front desk position — it combines administrative responsibility with patient interaction. From the first phone call to check-out, you'll make sure patients feel cared for and that every detail of their visit is handled with accuracy and professionalism. What You'll Do Answer and direct calls with a friendly, professional tone Schedule, reschedule, and confirm appointments Verify insurance benefits and prepare visit flow sheets in advance Maintain accurate patient information and records Collect payments and explain benefits clearly Support patients through specialty services like dry eye therapy and contact lenses Collaborate with the team to keep the day running smoothly What We're Looking For Strong communication skills — clear, confident, and professional Detail-oriented with excellent organizational ability Patient-focused mindset — calm, positive, and helpful even under pressure Ability to multitask in a busy environment Team player who takes initiative and ownership Prior experience in healthcare, insurance, or customer service is helpful, but not required — we'll train the right person who shares our values Why EyeDocs?
