The Pre Analytics Manager will be responsible for all employment related activities to include recruitment and performance evaluations. This role will monitor budgets, fiscal performance, and quality assurance for pre-analytic areas of the laboratory. A caregiver in this position works 8:00am—4:30pm. A caregiver who excels in this role will: Manage department personnel and operations which include staffing, training, workflow analysis, and performance management. Monitor quality and financial performance; justify expense and revenue within departments. Prepare annual operating and capital budgets. Ensure compliance with government health regulations, CAP guidelines, quality management program requirements, and customer service standards. Develop and maintain performance improvement; recommend enhancement and cost saving strategies. Ensure operational problems are resolved, and remedial actions are taken whenever necessary. Resolve interdepartmental issues to ensure consistency in quality, procedure, and policy application. Maintain instruments and equipment in accordance with manufacturer's specifications. Develop, monitor and implement programs to enhance customer service, develop skills and improve scope of service. Other duties as assigned Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: Bachelor's Degree 3 years of clinical laboratory management or supervisory experience 5 years of laboratory experience OR Associate's Degree, 4 years of supervisory or leadership experience, and 5 years of relative experience Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: MLT or Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) ASCP eligible
