Full Job Description Description:
Racing for Recovery is seeking a licensed therapist to provide clinical services within a holistic wellness model that integrates mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual health. The ideal candidate is committed to supporting adults, children and families in achieving sustained recovery and overall mental wellness. Services Provided by Racing for Recovery As part of an integrated care team, the Therapist may support or collaborate within the following services:
Mental Health Support:
Individual, group, and family counseling to address emotional and psychological well-being
Addiction Counseling:
Development of personalized recovery strategies to support sobriety and relapse prevention
Physical Wellness Activities:
Collaboration with fitness programming to support physical health and overall wellness
Nutrition Education:
Reinforcing healthy lifestyle practices, including plant-based nutrition and balanced dietary habits
Spiritual Guidance:
Supporting clients in personal growth, purpose, and self-discovery as part of the recovery journey Job Duties Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation in accordance with HIPAA, state regulations, and organizational policies Conduct comprehensive diagnostic assessments utilizing clinical interviews, observation, collateral contacts, and standardized tools Develop, implement, and regularly update individualized treatment plans based on client needs and progress Provide therapeutic interventions, including individual, family, and group counseling services within scope of practice Provide case management services and individual skills training as indicated in the treatment plan Facilitate or co-facilitate group sessions on topics relevant to recovery and wellness Implement evidence-based practices, including services aligned with ASAM level of care criteria Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders and apply appropriate evidence-based treatment approaches Advocate for clients' needs and rights within healthcare, legal, and community systems Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated and effective care Communicate with clinical supervisor for clarification of procedures, clinical guidance, and consultation as needed Participate in regular supervision, team meetings, staff in-services, and ongoing training Maintain all required continuing education hours for licensure renewal Meet established productivity standards and performance expectations Maintain ethical and professional standards consistent with state licensing requirements and organizational expectations Support clients in developing coping skills, relapse prevention strategies, and overall wellness goals Ensure confidentiality and appropriate handling of all protected health information Keeps current with trends and developments related to essential job competencies and demonstrates continued growth. Perform additional duties as assigned to support organizational needs
Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications Active Ohio licensure:
LSW, LPC, LISW, LPCC
Maintain required continuing education for licensure renewal Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and clinical documentation standards Experience providing mental health and/or substance use disorder treatment Must be proficient and accurate in computer use. Must be willing to work flexible hours which may include evenings and/or weekends. Preferred Qualifications Experience with CARF accreditation standards Strong background in treating co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders One year of clinical experience. Salary $56,000
  • 65,000 yearly, based on licensure and experience.
