  • Full-time The Clinical Supervisor provides supervision for clinical staff and students.
The clinical supervision focuses on case conceptualization, diagnosis, treatment planning, and ongoing consultation regarding clinical cases. On a professional development level, the supervision focuses on professional ethics, legal aspects of clinical practice, and professional standards. Clinical supervisors also address administrative factors, including documentation requirements, productivity, and adherence to the agency's policies and procedures. The clinical supervisor delivers general mental health and drug/alcohol services for children, adolescents, and adults. These services will occur in any agency's sites and possibly the community. Some evening and/or Saturday hours are required.
Qualifications:
Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Master's degree in the behavioral health care profession. Must hold appropriate licensure as required by the State of Ohio to provide clinical and supervisory services (LISW-S) At least five years of experience providing direct clinical services Ability to provide a variety of direct and indirect service modalities; Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Administrative Responsibilities:
Assure assigned clinical staff and interns receive appropriate supervision per individual's need and licensing board requirements. Monitor supervisees' documentation, productivity, caseload management, and the provision of clinical services to ensure quality services. Work closely with the team of clinical supervisors to maintain the highest quality of clinical services and to contribute to the growth and development of the clinical programs. Maintain awareness of all programs and services provided within the agency and facilitate internal referrals of clients to programs that best match client need.
Clinical Responsibilities:
Provide direct service therapeutic interventions at a productivity expectation established by the Clinical Director of Outpatient Services, taking into consideration time allotted for supervision responsibilities. As part of the clinical supervisory team, assist in facilitating clinical group staffings when scheduled. Review caseloads and efficiency of staff and determine productivity expectations accordingly. Provide consultation and educational programs internally for agency staff and externally in response to community requests.
