SUMMARY:
This position will assist the President in leading the daily operations of the facility.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
include the following: Responsible for assisting with financial oversight of skilled nursing including but not limited to reviewing financial statements, reviewing invoices, budget development, and financial forecasting for revenue and expenses for Skilled Nursing and Assisted Living Assists in reviewing policies/procedures and operational efficiency makes recommendations for change to the Director of Nursing and President Responsible for ensuring delivery of high-quality care and services by working with the Director of Nursing and identifying resident needs and operational deficits. Responsible for maintaining a high level of Customer Service and Resident Satisfaction Promote Employee retention and engagement Responsible for addressing concerns brought up through Resident Council, Resident Satisfaction reports, Employee Satisfaction Reports, Grievance Committee Responsible for oversight of the Payroll Based Journal (PBJ) and its submission to CMS Responsible for reviewing the Risk Management Dashboard and Signing Off upon completion Assist in operation of the facility in accordance with the established policies and procedures of the governing body in compliance with federal, state and local regulations Enforce the facility policies and procedures. Responsible for being a driver of the QAPI process Act as liaison to the governing body for the medical, nursing and professional staff and all facility departments Prepare all reports as required by Administrator. Prepare written personnel policies and individual job descriptions. Participate in the recruitment, employment, scheduling, performance, evaluation, promotion, and termination of staff. Participate in the scheduling, planning and procuring of materials and information for staff meetings and in-service education programs Interpret all federal, state and local regulations for the facility staff. Act as a liaison between the facility and regulatory agencies, fiscal intermediaries and resident advocacy agencies. Develop one-to-one relationships with residents and families. Develop relationships with community agencies providing services of benefit to the facility. 15. Other duties may be assigned. EDUCATION and/orEXPERIENCE
