Overview We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Clinic Manager to lead and oversee the daily operations of our healthcare facility in Willard. This pivotal role combines strong leadership, financial acumen, and comprehensive medical office management skills to ensure the clinic runs smoothly, efficiently, and in full compliance with healthcare regulations. As the Clinic Manager, you will be the driving force behind delivering exceptional patient care, managing staff, optimizing practice performance, and maintaining a welcoming environment for both patients and team members. Responsibilities Lead and supervise all clinic staff, including medical administrative support, nursing, and healthcare professionals, fostering a positive and productive work environment. Oversee fiscal management activities such as budgeting, financial reporting, billing processes, and expense control to ensure the clinic's financial health. Manage daily clinic operations utilizing EMR systems like Epic, eClinicalWorks, Dentrix, or Eaglesoft for patient records, scheduling, and billing to maximize efficiency. Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations including HIPAA privacy standards, JCAHO accreditation requirements, and health regulation policies. Coordinate patient management workflows to enhance patient experience while maintaining high standards of care and safety. Oversee human resources functions such as hiring, training, performance evaluations, and staff development initiatives. Maintain accurate medical records management and ensure adherence to medical terminology standards and electronic health records (EHR/EHR systems). Implement quality improvement initiatives related to healthcare practice management and utilization management to optimize patient outcomes. Monitor clinic performance metrics regularly to identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiencies. Skills Proven experience in medical office management with a strong background in healthcare practice operations across various settings including dental clinics or hospitals. Extensive knowledge of fiscal management practices such as budgeting, financial analysis, billing procedures, and managed care processes. Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems like Epic, eClinicalWorks, Dentrix, Eaglesoft or similar platforms for patient records and practice management. Strong supervisory skills with demonstrated success managing healthcare teams in fast-paced environments. Excellent managerial communication skills capable of motivating staff while fostering teamwork and accountability. Deep understanding of healthcare regulations including HIPAA compliance, JCAHO standards, and health policy policies. Experience with medical billing processes along with knowledge of medical terminology and medical records management. Ability to utilize Microsoft Office tools effectively for reporting and administrative tasks. Prior experience in acute care or hospital settings is advantageous; familiarity with dental office or veterinary practice environments is a plus. Demonstrated ability to manage budgets effectively while maintaining high-quality patient care standards.
