Responsibilities:
Responsible for supervising the front office and medical records area of the clinic, ensuring efficiency of the patient check-in and check-out process, verification of patient insurance/demographic information, appointment scheduling, telephones and patient flow. Responsible for greeting and checking in patients who are arriving for clinic appointments and routing patient chart to appropriate location. Serves as a liaison between patient and medical support staff.
Qualifications:
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree preferred.
Experience:
Three (3) to five (5) years of work experience in the medical front office setting; Two (2) plus years of supervisory experience preferred; Multi-phone system; Knowledge of medical setting; Computer experience - Scheduling experience preferred.
