We are looking for a highly motivated and personable individual who takes ownership and strives for excellence to join our team as a Medical Front Office Coordinator. This role will support superb standards of serving patients above and beyond the norm.
Position Summary:
The primary job duties will include greeting and checking in patients, answering phones, collecting patient payments, processing paperwork, scheduling appointments, and general office tasks. The Medical Front Office Coordinator will also help keep work areas clean and organized, as well as ensure the office provides a welcoming environment for our patients. Essential Functions To accomplish this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform, with or without reasonable accommodation, each essential function satisfactorily. Ensure office is opened and closed daily as per establish schedules Greet and attend to patients in person or over the phone in a professional and courteous manner Answer phones and triage to appropriate department/person Distribute forms and paperwork to patients and review to ensure required fields are completed properly Ensure all patient paperwork is uploaded in EMR Maintain patient accounts by obtaining, recording, and updating personal and financial information Understanding patient copayment or coinsurance responsibility and collecting payment Schedule appointments Collect and respond to mail Maintain patient record accuracy in our EMR, CRM, other systems (i.e. reports, records, referrals, communication relevant to continuity of patient care) Fulfill patient record requests Provide patient education regarding office policies and processes As needed, assist back office in rooming patients, taking vitals and preparing exam rooms (Medical Assistants only) Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
High school or equivalent 2+ years medical clinic or facility front desk experience front desk (Required) 2+ years customer service (Preferred) Certified Medical Assistant (Preferred) Proficiency with EMR systems and software applications, including Microsoft Office Suite (Required) Excellent written and verbal communication skills Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work Working knowledge of medical terminology
Location:
3705 NW 63rd St, OKC main location--some time may be spent at office at 3130 SW 89th
Street Pay:
From $17.00 per hour
