Monday-Friday (no holidays) Admits patients in a professional, efficient and friendly manner. Answering incoming phone calls Greeting patients and visitors Transferring phones calls Properly assembles patient charts Verifies patient identification and patient information in system Handles multiple priorities Effective communication skills; both orally and written Computer Skills Required Manages stress appropriately Works alone and with others effectively Independent discretion/decision making One year experience as an admissions clerk or in Health Information Services in a hospital setting preferred.
