Job Title:
Director of Nursing Job Description Our client is a top oncology clinical research site organization dedicated to advancing cancer treatment through innovative clinical trials and patient-centered care. They are seeking an experienced Director of Nursing to oversee clinic nurses, infusion nurses, nurse navigators, referral intake personnel, and scheduling teams. This leadership role is responsible for driving high-quality patient care, staff development, operational excellence, and compliance within a fast-paced oncology clinical research environment. Responsibilities
+ Lead and mentor multidisciplinary nursing and support teams.
+ Ensure high standards of patient care, safety, and clinical excellence.
+ Develop and implement staff training, education, and competency programs.
+ Provide clinical guidance to nurses, study coordinators, and research personnel.
+ Oversee compliance with internal procedures, GCP guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
+ Support patient enrollment, referral management, and research program growth initiatives.
+ Drive process improvement efforts to enhance patient care and operational efficiency.
+ Collaborate with regulatory, quality, pharmacy, and operational teams to support successful clinical trial execution.
+ Monitor key performance metrics related to patient referrals, enrollment, and study activity.
+ Ensure effective use of CTMS, EHR, and other clinical systems. Essential Skills
+ Clinical operations expertise.
+ Experience in clinical research.
+ Strong budgeting skills.
+ Ability to work with patients. Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN).
+ Active RN license in good standing.
+ ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certification.
+ Strong knowledge of GCP and clinical research regulations.
+ Experience with clinical documentation systems and Microsoft Office.
+ Proven nursing leadership experience, preferably within oncology. Preferred Qualifications
+ Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN).
+ Master's degree in Nursing, Leadership, or a related field.
+ Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) certification. Additional Information
+ Up to 5% travel required.

Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Oklahoma City, OK. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $120000.00 - $140000.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
