We are a busy and patient-focused private audiology practice committed to helping individuals improve their hearing and overall quality of life. We are looking for a warm, organized, and reliable Patient Care Coordinator to join our front office team. Position Summary:
As the first point of contact for our patients, the Patient Care Coordinator plays a critical role in creating a positive and professional experience. You will be responsible for managing front office operations, supporting audiologists and staff, and ensuring smooth day-to-day functioning of the clinic.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet patients in person and on the phone with a friendly, professional demeanor Schedule, confirm, and manage appointments using our electronic scheduling system Verify insurance coverage and assist with basic billing questions Maintain accurate patient records and follow HIPAA guidelines Assist with intake forms, referrals, and documentation Coordinate follow-up care and appointment reminders Support audiologists in managing patient flow and time efficiency Handle administrative duties such as filing, scanning, and supply ordering Provide outstanding service to ensure a positive patient experience
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required 1+ year of front desk, customer service, or medical office experience preferred Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Comfortable using scheduling software and electronic health records (EHR) Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask A calm and caring attitude toward patients
